January 2012 - April 2012 - Receiving submissions. Sourcing of competition judges, readers, mentor poets and writers. Ongoing online matchmaking of volunteer mentors with writers and poets.
6th April 2012 - Deadline for entry of plays to the verse play competition. Submissions read by panel of readers.
27th April 2012 - Long-list is published on the internet and then sent on to panel of special judges.
14th May 2012 - Press release: 4 shortlisted and 1 winning play announced. Castings and rehearsals begin. A range of high profile events help to keep the event in the media attention and sell tickets for the actual week.
25th June 2012 - Winning play performed in a high profile London theatre space for week. Four shortlisted plays also given rehearsed readings. Other talks and performances all go together to make a full week celebration of dramatic verse.
