12th January 2010 – COMPETITION LAUNCH!
An exciting range of events to be held in venues across London! Press releases and media interviews with patrons.
March 2010 – June 2010 – National publicity for the festival. Ongoing training events with national partners to guide poets towards narrative forms and playwrights towards verse.
1st June 2010 – Deadline for submissions! Scripts are sent to a panel of readers.
August 2010 – The longlist - as chosen by the readers - is published on the website and plays are sent to panel of expert judges.
October 2010 – 4 runners-up and 1 winner are announced! The winning play is cast and rehearsals begin.
January 2011 – The winning play is performed in central London and in a Northern venue.
